your last piece of advice

Time for a thought experiment.

You're on your deathbed. Your friends, family, and loved ones are around you. You have lived your life, and it is now time to go. They ask you to share words of wisdom, a last reflection before your final breaths.

If you could offer just one piece of advice, what would it be? Limit it to 50 words.

After some reflection, here’s what rises to the surface:

Above all: know thyself. Choose curiosity over criticism. Love and joy matter as much as sleep and exercise. Make art often, and share it freely—even unfinished. You’ll grow more through completion than contemplation.

Maybe I cheated — it's so hard to choose a single piece of advice! But I love this thought exercise because it draws out some of your most cherished life lessons.

What would your answer be?
