I used to think volunteering at events was contrary to the experience itself. Why waste time working when you could be fully immersed as a participant?

That may be true sometimes—some events are worth being 100% immersed in as an attendee. But I’ve learned that volunteering and helping others at an event is an easy, meaningful path to connection.

You meet new people effortlessly. Having a job to do gives you purpose—no awkward moments of sitting idly when you’re engaged with a task.

Serving is about giving energy back into the greater good. It unclogs our spirits and fosters a sense of belonging. It’s a means of being part of something greater than ourselves.
